The Bradford Arts Centre is a project launched by the Bradford United Church. We want to enrich the lives of residents in Bradford and surrounding areas by developing a cultural centre where artists and audiences can participate in quality visual and performing arts. Due to a gracious and generous donation by Irvin Hounsome, we were able to have a performance quality sound system designed and installed in March-April, 2017.
We have also been able to renovate the front of the church to provide quality performance space for musicians, dance and theatrical performance.
Our fundraising goals for 2017-2018 are as follows
- Refurbish lighting system $5,000
- Enhance current computer projection system $2500
2018-2019
- install appropriate air conditioning for performance and exhibition space.
- Renovate the lower level of the building to accommodate medium-scale art exhibits.
